DrawPad Graphic Editor

You have two options at your disposal: you can either get started from scratch and come up with a new image or you can load an existing image and edit it. All the tools you need to enjoy both these options are put at your disposal by DrawPad, a graphic editing tool offered for free by NCH Software.

If your PC can run Microsoft’s Windows operating system properly, it will have no problems running NCH Software’s DrawPad. Support is provided for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, as well as Windows 8.

Launch DrawPad and you will be presented with a Welcome to DrawPad prompt that lists three options: create a new blank project, open an image and edit it, open the Help file.
After that you will be presented with DrawPad’s familiar interface: the image you’re working on is front and center, several tools are to the left, a list of all the layers you created is presented to the right, a File Menu and a toolbar are displayed at the top.

From a functionality point of view, you can expect to get the following from DrawPad: create a new blank project; open an image and edit it (PNG, JPG, and BMP files are supported); undo and redo; zoom, filters; tools (pencil, rectangle, text, paintbrush, eraser, and more); save, print, or email image.

As mentioned above, DrawPad is offered for free by NCH Software. This means you can use DrawPad for free for as long as you want.
